Students celebrate Founder’s Day with reverence & prayers | Kolkata News



Kolkata: The Assembly of Christ School observed its Founder’s Day prayer service recently, marking the occasion with gratitude and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with a brief introduction and welcome note. The service began with a prayer led by the rector, Rev. K Paul Victor Korati, followed by an opening hymn by the school choir. A homage to the founder was paid by the secretary, Lalitha Victor, and the rector, recalling the founder’s vision, values, and enduring legacy. The scripture reading by the HR head Winnie Stella Korati added depth to the prayer service. Cultural programmes enriched the occasion, beginning with an opening dance by the senior students. This was followed by the felicitation of the chief guest, the chairman of the Titagarh Municipality, Kamlesh Kumar Shaw. The school calendar was formally released by the secretary and the rector along with other management members. The chief guest addressed the gathering and encouraged students to uphold the values of discipline, service, and dedication. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by principal AD Gomes followed by the closing prayer.
