Man held for hoax bomb threat | Kanpur News
Kanpur: The GRP arrested a man for allegedly threatening to blow up Central station with a bomb. He had made a call to police at 112 on February 27 claiming that a conspiracy was being hatched to blow up a train at the Central station at 7 pm.The accused was identified as Arshad Ali, a resident of Begampurwa Safed Colony. Police said that Arshad called at 112 using the name Anil Kumar and informed them that a person named Adil Ustad was going to blow up Central station with a bomb. Arshad has many cases against him at GRP, Kidwai Nagar and Babupurwa police stations.
