Nagpur: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Vidarbha from March 19 to 21, forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by scattered rain across the region. The department has also predicted a dip of 3–5°C in maximum temperatures over the next five days, bringing temporary relief from the prevailing heat. This will be followed by isolated rainfall on March 20 and 21, after which dry conditions are likely to return from March 22 onwards.
