Four held for robbing labourer in Chennai | Chennai News
Chennai: Police have arrested four people, including two minors, for robbing a daily wage labourer at knifepoint in Tiruvottiyur. Pandian, 49, a resident of Thazhankuppam in Ennore walking back home from work on Wednesday, when he was intercepted by a gang. They threatened him with knives and demanded money. When he refused, they assaulted him and snatched 1,200 from his shirt pocket before fleeing.Based on a complaint, a case was registered. Police arrested Lokesh, 21, Vignesh, 23, and two 16-year-old boys. The minors were sent to a govt observation home, while the youths were remanded in judicial custody.
