BJP worker killed in Raidighi, wife & ‘paramour’ held | Kolkata News
Kolkata: The body of a 38-year-old farmer and BJP worker with his throat slit was recovered near his residence in South 24 Parganas’ Raidighi on Monday night. Police have arrested the victim’s wife, Anima, and a local man, Gobinda Halder, suspecting an extra-marital affair led to the murder of Kishore Das.Locals found the body near a pond adjacent to the victim’s house. Officers from Raidighi PS moved him to Raidighi Rural Hospital, where he was declared dead.
