Man held for molesting minor in Khaparkheda | Nagpur News

Nagpur: Khaparkheda police arrested a 26-year-old man, Rakesh Raju Hazare, a resident of the same area, for allegedly stalking and molesting a 13-year-old girl.According to the complaint, Hazare was stalking the victim for the past few days, making obscene gestures and repeatedly demanding her mobile number. On March 16, between 10am and 10.20am, Hazare allegedly abused the teenager and threatened to kill her when she refused to give him her mobile number.After the minor lodged a complaint at Khaparkheda police station, a case was registered under Sections 78, 351(2), 74 of the BNS and Section 12 of the POCSO Act.The investigating officer promptly traced and arrested the accused. Further investigation is underway.
