Exercise ‘Amogh Jwala’ showcases Army’s warfighting capabilities

Jhansi: Exercise Amogh Jwala, a technology-driven integrated training exercise conducted by Indian Army concluded on Wednesday at Babina Field Firing Ranges.Started on March 6, the exercise aimed to validate the Army’s preparedness for mechanised warfare in a multi-domain operational environment, showcasing the synergy between advanced weapon systems, aerial platforms, and networked communication technologies.The drills featured the integration of mechanised forces with attack helicopters, massed unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and network-enabled battlefield platforms under a secure and robust command-and-control setup. Use of advanced surveillance systems, precision firepower and real-time communication networks were also used to enhance battlefield transparency and improved decision-making during complex combat scenarios.Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command was present as the chief guest on the concluding day. He commended their high standards of professionalism and operational readiness, reaffirming the Army’s focus on technological modernisation and multi-domain integration.General Seth further emphasised that tech absorption, jointness and the seamless integration of land, air, cyber, space, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and electronic warfare (EW) capabilities are fundamental to building an agile, adaptable and combat-ready force capable of dominating the evolving battlespace across the full spectrum of multi-domain operations.
