Constable attempts suicide by consuming poison | Nagpur News

Nagpur: A police constable from the Wathoda police station attempted suicide by consuming poison while he was alone at home on Sunday. Sources said the constable, identified as Jayanta Zhade, was frustrated due to an ongoing marital dispute with his wife.Zhade was then rushed to a nearby private hospital where his condition is now said to be stable. Police have launched an internal investigation to determine the exact circumstances and the contributing factors behind the suicide attempt by the police constable.
