Man shot at outside home | Kanpur News

Kanpur: A 32-year-old man was critically injured after an unknown car-borne assailants opened indiscriminate fire outside his house in Naya Patel Nagar on Jalaun Road under the Orai Kotwali area on Thursday night. He was admitted to Rajkiya Medical College. The injured was identified as Sonu Rajavat. He was attacked after he returned from a Trayodashi feast. Bullets hit him in the leg and waist, and he collapsed on the spot. Family members and locals informed the police who took him to Rajkiya Medical College, where his condition remains critical. After the attack, the assailants fled in a car. The incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera. Police examined other CCTV footage from the surrounding area and said the accused would be identified and arrested soon. tnn
